Located in North-East England at Coxhoe, Co. Durham, we have taken our modern brewing philosophy and strong brand identity and fused this with local culture and history.
Sonnet 43 ‘How do I Love Thee?’ is the best-known work of poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning, who was born and raised in Coxhoe Hall; we took her words and expressed it our way: craft beer.
Using only the best ingredients with traditional brewing methods enables us to produce remarkable, high-quality cask beers that deliver a real taste experience to be savoured and enjoyed.
#34 People We Trust · 4.5% Alcohol
A prohibition inspired common ale. Dark amber in colour with hints of Carmel, toffee & biscuit notes. Lively due to the lightly but subtly complex malts.
Late stage hop additions contribute to further aromatic flavour release. The balanced combination of ingredients creates a slight sweet but refreshingly dry finish.

#35 Gather Round Beer · 5.0% Alcohol
A Full flavour Dark ale packed full of a premium malt. Carefully selected hop flavours of molasses and chocolate spice complement the specialist grains.
Full body, Tan white head with slight Smokey notes and a thirst quenching dry finish.

Blonde Beer · 3.8% Alcohol
Our Blonde beer is clear, crisp and dry with a low-to-medium bitterness and delicate aroma from moderate use of hops and some sweetness from the malt. A golden straw colour.
The use of a generous amount of wheat malt contributes to a velvety texture creating a very smooth drink and creamy head.

Blonde Beer · 3.8% Alcohol
Dark malts give this sweet stout an almost black body with a tempting dark tan head.
Brewed using the finest ingredients gives a rich, full-body and aromas of bitter chocolate and oak, as well as multiple flavour levels comprising delicate sweet bourbon, silky chocolate and dry oak.

The traditional stout style and slight sweetness suites hearty dishes.

India Pale Ale · 4.4% Alcohol
A hoppy pale ale with a gold appearance with a creamy white head which remains throughout the drink. Complex hoppy aroma due to lots of Styrian hops.
Delicate fruity malt taste make this beer hugely drinkable and sessionable whilst standing out from the crowd.

American Pale Ale · 3.8% Alcohol
